Kids playing around at a small village in Hunan, Long tang, with a few hundred inhabitants. We went there with a class of Scandinavian students from Shanghai's Fudan university and visited the local township committee, which are actually elected democratically in local elections. However, all those running are members of the CCP. There was even a woman in the committee, but when we asked her whether she encountered any difficulties being a woman in the male-dominated world of politics, the men were answering FOR HER that this was no problem.
All this is off course not an issue for these kids. They are just kids and everywhere else, they just played around and had fun looking at the strange group of foreigners in a village where foreigners never come.
