Photographer’s Note
It was raining that morning,so we had a golden chance to see such a scenery,it's just like a traditional Chinese painting, when we arrived at our destination, summit of Tianzi Mountain which is about 1200 metres high.
I don't know how to describe our feeling when seeing this secnery. The nature has great power,it's magic and fantastic!I am very happy to share it with friends of TE.
Something about Zhangjiajie
----------------------------------
Zhangjiajie is situated in the northwest of Hunan province, in the juncture of the Yunan-Guizhou Plateau and the subsidence of Dongting Lake, stretching over the area from between 109'40 to 110'20 E to between 28'52 to 29'48 N.
The landform is complex in Zhangjiajie, including mountains, lava, hills, plains, etc. Mountainous area takes up 76 percent of the total. The most characteristic feature is the quartzes sandstone landform, which is rare in the world. The city is higher on the northwest, and tilts along Li River to the south. Wuling mountains, divided from Yunwu Mountain in Guizhou province, are again divided into some branches across the city . There are mountains over mountains in the city and many abrupt peaks and low lands. The highest point is 1890.4 meters above the sea level, and the lowest 75 meters.

Excellent photo with all the peaks of the rocks and the trees growing on them. As well, the mist that is surrounding them. Very moody shot, with lots of atmosphere. Well-captured, I don't think I have ever seen a photo of this place before.
Regards
P.S. A note would be nice please, any language is good.

Hey JJ,
You must have been flying when you took these shot! Impeccable POV...In "Shangri-La Meets The Crouching Tiger"! Living us with an empty space in your notes makes us wonder more about this 'surreal' place!
Best Regards,

Hiya,
You've done a nice job of capturing the mood of this scene. You may have trouble putting it into words but the photo tells the story well for me. I wonder how it might look having cropped the overexposed band at the top or added a slight grad to tone it down a bit?
Cheers!

Hi JJ,
Thanks for sharing this one. Wonderful to see how those rocks and trees peak through the clouds, or through the mist. That's an incredibly point of view you got here. I'll add it to my theme 'Landscape locations with WOW'. Nice one!!
Greetings, Dennis

hi lunar,
excellent capture of the scenic beauty of the place. the fogs over the trees create nice misty environment there. good control over exposure too. tfs.

Wonderful shot - although I wonder if you could have processed the photo so the top edge is not "blown out". Shooting in RAW format can sometimes help to correct this. Good job anyway.

Hi Lunar,
a very "teasing" capture...seeing it from this perspective it seems like being thrown into the air to overlook this valley...impressive...cheers, arturo

Hi Lunar,
great atmosphere, this landscape has always fascinated me... looks indeed like a Chinese painting...
I would have liked to see more detail in the mountains on the horizon...
