Photographer’s Note
At a few places along the Yangtze river one can see where the road above is. Clearly it is where bridges span a divide. Someday I would like to return and just travel this unique road that stretches through the three gorges area along the river. I can imagine it is a very intersting and somewhat challenging experience. Most take passsage on the river boats as I am here adrift along the river, standing on the top deck, taking in the impressive view.
All the water levels within the three gorges will continue to rise as the last portion of the great three gorges dam is in place. Some of the beauty of these gorges will have been lost. The overall feeling of wall height and narrowness of the river will also be lost.

This is an amazing location! I like your photo, with the diagonal bridge and the redish building amongst all that green.

Hello David,
the view is really impressive. It's a haze which makes it look like a painting. That reminded me of old Chinese paintings of hills, trees... well, you know :)
I'm not sure if I would dare to cross that bridge!
best regards,
Elena
