Photographer’s Note
This small structure will soon be lost as the last section of the Three Gorges Dam near Yichang, China begins to hold back water. Many such structures will soon by torn down or simply sink below the water line.

Hi Mr Professor, this view with a beautiful green texture is quite refreshing. But it's also pity that those beautiful structures will sink below the water line and completely disappear. However, your photo will prevail just to make people remember the old days. Kind regards, Tolga

Hey David
Scenes like this will surely be missed. When China rises to be a economic superpower lots of reminants like this will be demolished for skyscrapers, roads, cars, a mess. It's kind of ironic that a country who lived so soundly with Feng Shui for thousands of years now opt for the opposite. Concrete jungles will be the only biodiversity we have to worry about.
Sad
Thanks for sharing, I hope I did not bore you as I thought aloud. :P
