While I am selecting some of my best memories about my almost-3 years experience in Shiyan city, I noticed this funny pic. Actually, this is me, watching a city hall governor eating living shrimp... I was pretty drunk when it happens and we can see on my face I was needing some more alcool to launch myself into such food experience... and I did, but wasnt drunk enough to eat the poor seafood... anyway, we can see my friend is enjoying it very much! Cheers and enjoy your mea! Tibo

Hi Thibaut,

Wow, I never knew about this style of 'fetish eating' before. I was aware of eating raw animals, but not this fresh. I think it is a little bit barbaric, I mean this shrimp would have been eaten alive by a fish or bird for sure, but by a human I think it is a little uncivilized. You look like you are enjoying the moment immensely ;). Thanks for this novel post and educating me about such delicacies.

Matt

Hello Thibaut. Photo and titles fit in the best way. The sceptical face expression says everything. A good shot. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Not my kind of photo but I couldn't resist this one, the timing with the poor creratures parts sticking out is just right, you could add this to the humrous category as well. I can never try such a delicacy.
