Photographer’s Note

The Kaifeng night market is a wonderful place to watch people and the food is excellent!

This picture is taken in the early evening, when the actual food market hasn't begun yet. But, while people rush by on their way home from work the cooks have already started preparing their food. This picture shows a big steamer with the fire already lit up beneath it.
