Luoyang is a prefecture-level city in western Henan province, People's Republic of China. It borders the provincial capital of Zhengzhou to the east, Pingdingshan to the southeast, Nanyang to the south, Sanmenxia to the west, Jiyuan to the north, and Jiaozuo to the northeast.

Situated on the central plain of China, one of cradles of the Chinese civilization, Luoyang was one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China.

nice photo of the daily life in China, nice sharpness and colours of the evening. Maybe the composition could be better if the focus would be on the temple.

An amazing set-up you've found here, almost too good to be true! Are you sure it wasn't in Hollywood?

I guess we'll not be able to see such ancient villages in China for very long. All the banners, lanterns and bicycles contribute to this highly attractive image, but the key element is surely this impressive gate. Wow!!!

You've choose the right moment to shoot this photo under beautiful warm light.

Great picture. Colours are fantastic. There is so much to see in this picture, yet it is not too busy to look at. I feel your picture conveys something more than most pictures of Chinese street scenes on Trek Earth.
