[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Laboring in this track from 7a.m for 2 hours, the snow got thicker and thicker with every step i took up the mountain and the woods covered the sky,which made the trip more tiring. During a stopover i turned back and saw the mountains in the distance covered in fresh sunshine,so came this picture.

i am sure you must have enjoyed the trekking. the picture is very beautifully taken. it gives us a mix of both darkness and brightness. it imparts the meaning, that there is light after every darkness. very artistic and creative.

I had to look at your headings twice, Rick, to make sure this was China because it looks so much like some of the scenery around the Grand Canyon in the US. Great to see some wilderness pictures from China - we see and read so much about the destruction of the environment in China and the air pollution that is accompanying it, so photographs like this give us hope. Cheers . . . David
