Photographer’s Note
Mountain Songshan (嵩山), the Central Mountain (中岳) of Chinese Five Sacred Mountains (五岳), located in Henan Dengfeng (河南省 登封市). Mt. Songshan consists of eastern and western two mountains, Taishi (太室山) and Shaoshi (少室山).
These pictures I took was in Taishi. The highest peak of Taishi is Peak Junji (峻極峰), its height reaches 1491.7 meters. It was a cold and cloudy day that I climbed this mountain. However, the views were great also. When you climbed higher, it just liked walking in cloud.

hi Joseph
I read that Songshan is very interesting place worth visiting.
I am not sure why you have re-post this photo, perhaps with some cropping off the top and adjustment of a bit on the levels? But I must say you have to read FAQ, Guidelines and ABOUT at the top of this page, especially about 300kb filesize limit and 800pixels when you resize your original photo for upload on TE, in order to get better quality and resolution.
It is not easy to capture the foggy scenery of high mountains or the mood of the scene, because the actual sight is always more impressive to the eye and feel. I have been to Mount Kinabalu 4095m peak and it is the same feeling at the summit, but capturing the scenery is a big challenge.
I hope to see more posts from you.
Greetings from Borneo.
tfs, bill
