I have seen the same in Beijing as well. You chose a nice one to frame close up, nice colors and a great expression on the face. Perhaps next time try to get the background slightly out of focus so she will stand out even more (Different Depth of Field). But any way, I like it.

another nice shot of a studious kid, and you got that in her concentrated expression.

Not sure if i am alone at this, but i think the red shoes and her soles, plus their position add something really cute and funny to your shot.

Good composition, Panken. I like the clarity of the shot and the bright colours. You captured a great expression on her face - she is really studying hard. Well seen and framed.
