Following Veronika 's WS - I got rid of the bags in the background.
Les sirènes de Xijiang ne sont peut être pas aussi redoutables que celles de l'Odyssée mais elles présentent néanmoins un danger pour tout invité à un banquet. Avec leur chant "tu veux boire, tu bois, tu ne veux pas boire, tant pis tu dois boire quand même", ce n'est pas les paroles qui enivrent l'invité mais plutôt l'alcool de riz. Le plaisir de succomber à l'ivresse du moment est assez vite compensé par un mal de crâne.
Guizhou's mermaids are maybe not as dangerous as those in Homere's Odyssey but all guests at a banquet should fear them. With their song "you want to drink, just drink ; you don't want to drink, you have to drink", the guest can fall for these not so innocent creatures. But in this Odyssey, it's more the rice wine than the songs that represent a real danger ! |
