Photographer’s Note

Zhenyuang is called the Venice of orient by the locals. (In fact it is quite different from what you would expect based on this, as there are no canals but only the river).

The atmosphere along the river is very quiet, though, and a lot of people spend the end of the afternoon there, drinking tea, playing cards or just resting.
