Photographer’s Note
Rice fields around Tang an village. Tang an is a steep 1 1/2 hike up the mountain from Zhaoxing. The Dong people inhabiting this area originally lived around the rivers, but some clans eventually moved up into the mountains and started cultivating rice terrases, when the area became more densely populated.

Hi Henrik,
Splendid view, this kind of terrased paddy can be seen also in Japan, but this one is steeper and looks great.
It will look more beautiful when the rice is planted and surface turns green...
