I am continuing my description of Tang an village. I went up a hill behind the village to capture this view. I composed the pic cutting off the far landscape, you'll see it in other images.

It's very strange to see water above the village.

Un POV molto particulare da cui si possono ammirare da vicino sia le "vasca" d'acqua sia i tetti rurali del villaggio.

Very nice photo - the roof tops make this a good composition IMHO. An alternate composition would have been to use the small strip of land between the paddy fields to diagonall divide your photo. I would have also like to see more roof tops :-)

Very good scenery here, you used the solar lighting well to accentuate the stalks in the field....I like the overall serene feel of the photo, well done Livia.

Hi Livia - wonderful ciombination of architecture and agriculture, I like the way the sun is casting silvery reflections on the paddies.

Hi Livia, this is such a pleasing photo. Interesting shapes and forms throughout the image (the cubical houses, rice paddies...) and excellent soft light. It almost looks like some kind of toy landscape. I guess your slog up the hill was worth the effort! Regards,

I continue to explore your Tang an village theme, these POV from above (and in counterlight) are great, this one is also very good (but the other one, with the drum tower, was even more stricking because of the very special architecture !)
Here, the light in the rice field is superb...
