Photographer’s Note
Stick-candy on sale at a night market in Guiyang, Guizhou. Despite being a nationwide phenomenon, it's quite rare to see anyone eating it - so I'm not sure how business is...

wonderful shot! very sharp, excellent dof! i love the glitter on this mysterious candy. (this would be great for one of those "guess the picture" quizzes)
i agree, imo asia is definitely not the best place for candy or desserts :-)
p.s. are those cherries on top?

Hi Walter
I like the narrow dof & circles of confusion in this abstract shot. Good sharpness in the foreground. Well done!

For anyone who wants to know, the red fruit on top are special forrest berries, very sauer. The rest looks like orange parts, all is covert in caramel. It is a treat from the north of China. Here the really eat it as well during the winter months.
About the shot, great color and dof.
