Photographer’s Note
In the great city of Chongqing thousands earn a living hauling items from place to place with "self power". It is tradition here. The city has many hills and was not well suited for bicycle use. Puller and stickmen (shoulder carriers) are common.
This man has a serious load and works hard in high heat to deliver it. Chongqing is considered one of the five hottest cities in China.

Hello David,
what an impressive shot! I like this capture... very heavy thing to carry - even when using a trolley...! I like the way you capture daily life scenes. Very good!
best regards,
ELena

Hi David,
not very easy this kind of (traditional) job !
moreover if the city isn't flat.
Interesting to see on TE how people are working around the world.

Oh wow...
Seeing high-tech toys like that trudged along on muscle is just priceless.
Very nicely captured of an everyday reality we don't see everyday.
