Hi Kev,
Instantly appealing image, a wonderful eye-magnet. Your black dressed subject stands out nicely from the colourful background.
Her expression is spontaneous and genuine, friendly and timid. A very caring and high spirited photo. Interesting note.
Cheers,
André

Thats a nice and rather perplexing expression with such a wodnerful and vibrant background. Good work here. I like the way this lady has a bewildered or rthar amused look! Good compsoition and camerawork. Nice overall composition.

Hi Kev,
Nice humorous shot. B&W is chosen well with the nice expression of the lady.

an excellent portrait once again Kev! i like how her fun face comes in harmony with the painting behind her! This painting reminds me of the grafiti I saw when i was in Verona under Julieta's balcony.. see in the ws i shall upload for you..

This looks a bit crazy... I felt she was wrongly placed in the photo, that you should have put her along the thirds, or even the middle, ...
But then the picture grew on me, no rules apply here when portraying an artist with her work as the background... this is a really cool picture.

A great, penetrating portrait, place wonderfully against the painting as good context, Regards kevin

Psychadelic. Great expression on her face. A pop-art portrait of the artist as a glowing spirit, energized by her candy-colored creation. -Hugh
Hi Kev,
nice composition! This is pure liberty. Liberty of colours expression and liberty of facial expression.
Well done,
Ale
Not bad Kev, a bit centrally composed, I would love her more off to the side. The background is great, very colorful, very eye catching. What a swet facial expression, you couldnt get that any better

Perfectly lilustrated environmetal portrait - PRO job all the way. It is o easy to "read" this one, it needs no notes almost after the title (of course your excelent comments are always welcome...)
Super work,

Those open eyes are amazing. They clearly mark the artist's attitude. A true statement, a real signature for that background painting. This needs a bit more contrast and some tick on the levels on my CRT here at work but I am not proposing a WS before I arrive home to see it in my LCD.
EDIT: Here I am sitting in front of my laptop. It looks gorgeous on these high contrasty LCDs. Background is perfect and the lighten areas on the girl's face too. Probably I would have slightly burnt the shadows just to emphasize the light a bit. But it's very good!

Hello Kev,
This excellent photo of yours has some similarities to my "Native American Girl" photo that you just critiqued today. I like the way that you photographed Li Hau in front of her wonderful abstract art. I had the Native American girl Pose in front of some the motifs at the Pow Wow. I saw the hand on the shield and placed it right where I wanted it to be in the frame. I love your photo of this talented and interesting artist. Great work!
