Photographer’s Note
Walking at one of the central market streets I noticed two women carrying their children in a somewhat typical style in bamboo carrier on their backs. I decided to follow them a bit and then the one boy stared at me with these burning eyes, firstly wondering what I was about and maybe also why I was pointing my camera at him but the look that he gave me is very pointed. I am also very sure that I am the first foreign person he has ever seen.
This image is also to demonstrate how some in other countries utilize other methods to carry their children around while shopping.
Again, a simple image but speaking out, saying that we are different, our culture is unique.
