Photographer’s Note
Early morning shot in Hongcun by the Half-Moon pond in the center of the village. Photograph was shot at 06:07 when there was still peaceful and there weren´t any tourists around yet except me and my son. The village opens for tourists officially at 08.00 (if I remember correctly) so an official with a walkie-talkie approached us asking us to show tickets. Well we didn´t have tickets with us because we had left those at our guesthouse where we had stayed overnight. Luckily he believed and it was OK.
