Photographer’s Note
For the Chinese majority the big thing in climbing mountains is to witness the sunrise. I agree that sunrises are generally more fascinating and beautiful that sunsets. Of course the best time to visit Huangshan would be autumn when chances to see beautiful mists are much better. OK - this is the best I could manage to capture. Shot at 05.04 ie. some 15 minutes after sunrise and towards east. Scenery was amazing even without mists but even more amazing were the sounds of various birds echoing from the deep valley below. That is something the photosites can not capture. Next time - if there will be next time in this life - I definitely want to visit Huangshan in autumn or winter.
