This is a classic picture: Angkor Wat, the ancient and wonderful ruins in Cambodia. Here in TE we can see lots of pictures from this special place, but I couldn't resist the tentation to upload my own version.
Angkor is a very special place. For me, is the most special ruins that I have visited. The sensation being there is something that you can't explain in words. You must visit it to understand the magnificient of the buildings, and to travel in time to appreciate the incredible society that the ancient Khmers had created.
Angkor Wat is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built for King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre since its foundation—first Hindu, dedicated to Vishnu, then Buddhist. The temple is the epitome of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. It has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag, and it is the country's prime attraction for visitors.
I've added to the original picture a soft sepia filter to increase the sensation of time. I hope you like it.
Best Regards

Hi Victor, A unique approach to what can be an overdone image, the b&w brings a graphic element which is finely balanced with the reflections .Could possibly have been cropped a little the left side ,but thats personal taste .Good post ,Thanks Tom
Hola Victor,
Mirari
