Photographer’s Note
I was on my research project to Kampong Spue province with several of my medical friends and my professor. After work, we went for lunch at a nice restaurant near a lack. the view is very nice. After I ate, I was looking around the place to see if there is anything interesting that I can get. Saw this guy were neting fish, so I waited for him to throw the net. One thing I was wishing was that he turned the other way around. But well cannot control the situation. Here it is.

hi Sothy
Very nicely composed shot with good DOF to show the net casting action freeze. Great light exposure to give a strong color contrast.

Hi Sothy,
It is very extraordinary. We would say an immense jellyfish which flies away!
This sort of fishing seams to be very difficult!
I like very much the work on colors with this a little golden pink and purple rocks.
Bravo, friendly

Beautiful picture with perfect timing. i tried on a few occasions while in Laos to get similar scenes but did not even close to what you did here. Excellent colors on the river.

For some strange I have been missing your work. Although i once rememebr seeing the bamboo image. Your gallery is a collection of timeless amsterpieces...its like an art gallery. This image too and the timliness of the click is remarkable. The colours and the pov are superb. Now I hope to keep a closer look at whatever you do!

Hello Sothy,
A classic Cambodian fisherman gesture. Just a shame that the fisherman was not photographed from the front... But no one is bound to do the impossible.
Regards.
Pierre.

Hi, dear friend, in this image you have captured really the decisive moment of this fisherman. Also the background is very pleasant with well saturated colors that reflect on the water. Very beautiful photo, I like it. Compliments.
Ciao and happy week
Paolo.

Hello Sothy,
A very good capture the fisherman unfurling his net. The photograph is rich in color, well-composed and displays good color. The purple in the distance is somewhat bewildering, but otherwise everything is very good.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Well,
Sothy, I think you controlled very well the situation. You got this shot just in time! 1/800 was a great exposure time so that the movement to be halted! The contrast between the net and the dim background is also very good!
Camera must always be with you, right?
Regards,
Athanasios.
