[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This book seller found my wife and I every afternoon for a few days in a row at our preferred happy hour patio on Sisowath Quay and tried to sell us books. Mostly he just made conversation and punched me in the arm. On the third day I agreed to buy a book if I could take his photo. He allowed me one photo, no more.

I had reservations about supporting what is essentially child labour, but he said he went to school and his command of English (and geography) would seem to support that. On this day, we were a little glum from hours spent at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields and he came along and brightened up our moods.

Incidently, the book I bought from him, on his recommendation is 'First They Killed My Father' by Loung Ung - a first person account of a little girl who became a child soldier after her family was destroyed by the Khmer Rouge.

There was less light than it looks like which is evident from the exif data.
