Chong Kneas, Siem Reab, Cambodia.
This Vietnamese boy is living over the surface of Tonle Sap Great Lake, in a Vietnamese floating village.
He lost one arm in an accident. Now that he is making his days with the left-over arm. He can swim with one arm. He moves around in this bowl. He represents the condition of the entire community of Vietnamese in Cambodia: hopeless, helpless.

Hi Thanh,

dramatic picture...an excellent reportage from a place we only use to know for Angkor Wat.

Cheers to this little warrior! Look at that smile..... it's heart-warming enough for me :))

Well.... I don't think he's helpless.....just look at how he managed to row... and I don't think he's hopeless either, 'coz I believe that while there's life, there's hope :)

Anyways, thank you for sharing this :)

Peace to you,
Kaye
