Photographer’s Note
These feet belong to the two young girls in yesterday's photograph. If you read the note for yesterday's photo it will tell you a bit more of a story about them and what they were doing.
Again, they were photographed at the entrance to Ta Som, one of the most picturesque temples within the Angkor complex in Cambodia.
It's a little sad because these are almost certainly the only footwear this little girl has but it reminds me of when I was a child and my parents would buy me an item of clothing that was a size or two too big and then to stop me moaning about it the inevitable words "Don't worry, you'll soon grow into them!" would be issued. I also remember wandering round the house in my dad's shoes when I was very young and not being able to walk properly because they were about 10 sizes too big!
Image cropped a little on the right-hand side and framed, othewise unchanged.
Regards,
Rich

hello again Richard,
I really like this one. I like the colours and the composition. But waht i especially like is you using your photographers eye and selecting an image to shoot that is something out of the ordinary. It is both funny and sad.
Can't understand why you haven't any more points for this one. The points giving thing never ceases to baffle me.I may not be a good photographer myself, but I like to think I recognise a good image when I see one.
regards
Bev
