Photographer’s Note
I named this picture "almost mystical" as it doesn't seem real at the first glance.
This is the Angkor Wat temple in one of the rainy days. I took that shot just before taking another one called "Barefooted..."
I used the Cokin Grad (ND 4x) 121 filter to minimise overburning the sky.
Some people say that the best time to go and visit the Angkor is a dry season, which starts late in October until around the middle of May. Now, what I experienced during my trip in early September was the colorful environment which may be seen and admired only when the humidity is very high bringing vivid colours to life.

Hi Michal,
"Mystical" is the right word. Great shot, good composition and beautiful nuances of green.

Excellent. Not almost, this IS mystical. There are thousands of Angkor photos out there. Some good, some bad but very few are original. This one is. Just goes to shoe thart you don't need blue, saturated skies for a top class image.

Duzo podrozy.. kolorowych plam natury i architektury, wyraziste portrety..
A moze Beksinski?
z pozdrowieniami, Agnieszka

Yes, doesn't look real. Fantastoc shot.
The composition is enhanced by the natural frame given by the columns in the foreground.

one of my favourite!
this foto has first of all ATMOSPHERE! with the pouring, gray clouds and "green" temples. It made this foto not almost mystical- it's mystical.
i like inner frame.

Hi Michal,
It's not half way mystical. It's the Mystical Scene. Just amazing! Excelent colors. But where are the points? I could see worse pics with more points than yours. What's happening with TE?

Pozdrawiam,
Michal

Hey Michal!
Nice photos! I loved browsing through your gallery, as you have many photos from Vietnam and Cambodia and I'm planning a trip there next year, so I'm excited to see or hear anything about those places! Can't wait! :)
Also, I liked the series about the Polish martial law in 1981, it was really interesting to read.
For now I picked this photo, because, well, it's Cambodia :) and because it's mystical, beautiful, well composed and nicely framed. Can't wait to see it with my own eyes :)
Regards,
Natasa
