[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello all,
Finally I get some time to post. Hope everyone is well!

This was shot by the waterfront in Phnom Penh and one of my first attempts to panning. Bikes and motorbikes are the main source of transportation in S.E. Asia. Traffic can be very scary at times, so if you going to ride/drive there, be on the look out for anything at anytime.
Hope you like it.
Didn't do much post processing except the usual Levels, Curve and USM.

cheers,
skye

Hello Skye ! Absolute good work, I like the speed in the photo ... and off they go. Nice the size and framing which underlines your exact work. Well done. Barbara.

Nice concept here. A good pan. You may want to shoot a bit wider to allow for a bit more head space in a similar situation.

Great Job.
Aloha, JB

Bravo!
Nicolas

Hello Skye.
Great to see you back again.
Well, for a first time (anytime actually) panning attempt, you've succeeded in a grand way. Good clean definition of the riders with the blurred background. The spped is delivered quite well; they look alot faster than they probably were going. Also, your exposure was well done; the colors are natural and vibrant.
Very well done, and again, good to see another post.
Regards friend,
Chris.

Hello Skye
Nice to see you again after all this time,
I like the way you have caputred the action here,
very well caputred
Regards
Daniel

Welcome back, Skye! Nice job panning here--the scooter is pretty sharp and you caught an interesting moment with both people having their hands to their heads. I guess I can't give too many points for originality (unlike most of your photos) but it's always worthwhile to execute something well. Regards, Ken.

Hi Skye
Excellent! I like the speed sensation with that beautiful blury
background. It is a very good panning and the details on the two
mtocycler are great. Thank you and cheers

Great shot. Did you use a panning technique here? Whatever technique you used you did it well. The motorbike couple are as sharp as could be expected and their poses are great. The background is perfectly blurred too. I would consider cropping out the area of beige concrete or something at the bottom of the frame though. Apart from that I think this is a very striking image. GREAT.

A pretty good first attempt at panning, Skye. The exposure and sharpness is just about right for this type of shot - only the composition could be improved a bit if you had a little more headroom at the top, and less at the bottom, and it would have looked better if the Honda was more to the left so that they are driving into the frame. Cheers . . . David
