Photographer's Note
I too wonder why this kind of pic hasn't been posted yet. More than 100 pics like this one are shot daily at Angkor Wat.
Just to personalize a bit amongst the other 100s: the centre monk told me he was studying at a computer school and getting tired he couldn't speak and improve his english with his colleagues. I suppose the others still didn't understand what he said...

Luko, This shot is amazing, but the monks are out of focus and the sky are blown out.
is that the way it came out at the original?

Really nice picture. Interesting contrast of orange color over the background faded ones. The picture is leaning a bit on the left, though. If you could just deapen the white of the sky, and sharpen the pic a bit (mainly cause of the details on the foreground), i think it would become an amazing shot. Sorry I limit myself to talk, and dont make any workshop of it.. dont have photoshop yet. Your comment is really interesting and funny :)

ha, it was taken on the right side of the path to Angkor, near a small building which was a library, right..? there is always someone sitting there..
I wasn't very lucky with monks there, I didn't see much of them, I just have few shots with them...
and this one is nice, everything what needed to make a good shot is there - Angkor and monks. just the sky could be a bit more attractive, but i know it was not up to you.
good stuff

You have many great photos! I like this one because, as you say, it adds a more personal touch by having the monks in the photo as well. Nice composition. JP
