Photographer’s Note
We were among the last visitors along the ruins of the famous Ta Prohm temple near Angkor. No big crowds comparable to the ones we saw in the morning hours. But there was a lonely red shirted boy sitting on a doorway. He wanted to move when he saw me and I yelled and gestured "stay - stay where you are." He was gentle and agreed to stay there. I got only one picture: This is not a portrait and I wanted to include everything, the jungle, the ruins and the boy.

Ah Ta Phrom, y favourite of all the temples there. Really caught the atmosphere here, and good use of the boy in te compo.

I'm glad you chose to leave the boy in the scene as it gives us a sense of scale. I probably would add a bit more saturation.
Good pic. TFS.

This photo reminds me one of mine. I visited Cambodia in 1988 and this was really great trip. Compare: http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Asia/Cambodia/photo153281.htm Regards.

Sublime! Marvelous composition, an almost other-worldly image. The ruins and the ancient trees speak volumes on the heritage of this young boy in his loney mood.

Izzet what an incredible place of ruins in the jungle. The boy is a real nice addition to this photo. You did well in asking him to stay right there! Very nice!

without that out of focus boulder in the bottom left this would be perfect.
