Lovely lighting. B&W works very well for this image. The blacks have a great depth to them, especially on the right half of the image. The detail on the woman seems to be crisper and more "contrasty" than the rest of the image, so makes her stand out more. The relatively unconventional composition also works well. I particularly like the partially hidden Buddha face in the top left hand corner, it appears like Buddha is actually watching over this woman. I also like the tiny buddha image on the plate in the bottom left hand corner, glad you didn't crop it out.

Nice shot Sebastien;

A good choice for B&W as it really brings out the detail in the photo. Interesting look on her face, as she's evidentally deep in thought. Did you zoom in from afar, or were you able to get in close without drawing her attention.

une belle compo, j'aime bcp l'atmosphere de serenité qui s'en degage . la conversion en n&b est superbe.
le cadrage top, avec ce grand espace au dessus d'elle ... tiens je vois que tu as croppe ... perso je ne suis pas fan des formats 'carrés' (ici je trouve que cela va bien), je te propose un WS pas pour ameliorer mais pour une autre vision

Très beau portrait, auquel le N&B convient parfaitement.
Le fond très sombre fait bien ressortir tout le premier plan. Le personnage bien sûr mais aussi l'autel (?) à coté duquel elle se trouve.
La lumière donne une atmosphère de sérennité et de calme.
Le format est le bon car il donne de l'espace au personnage.
1/4 de seconde : beau travail !

Magnifique photo, si rare parmis les photos de Siem Reab d'avoir une telle qualité sans que l'on est l'impression qu'un touriste dérange son hôte.

Le Noir et blanc va très bien ici et puis le cadrage, l'attitude de ce moine est superbe.

Par contre j'adhere plus au cadrage du WS d'Hugues.

Magnifique ! La gestion de l'obscurité et de la lumière est tout simplement géniale. La photographie en noir et blanc est un exercice bien plus difficile qu'il n'y parait, et tout l'art consiste à l'utiliser à bon escient. Ici, indéniablement, le passage en noir et blanc apporte un plus à l'image. Félicitations Seb !

Belle composition Sebastien. J'aime beaucoup ce regard à la fois classique et pudique sur Angkor. Le noir et blanc sied bien à la compo et après avoir vu le workshop, j'ai pensé que l'idée d'une photo qui développe plusieurs sens ou impressions selon le cadrage et le découpage était particulièrement passionnante. Joli workshop d'Hugolef en tous cas.
