Photographer’s Note
This is one of the inner walls of Ta Phrom.
Ta Phrom is one of the more photogenic, and because of that- one of the more recognizable temples of Angkor Wat. No restoration work has been done at Ta Phrom, it's been left as it was found- at the mercy of the jungle.
I hope you like it!

I like this ruins shot very much, in fact, Dan. The trees remind me of the ents in Lord of the Rings. Roots are very hard generally to capture, and this is a very effective perspective. One certain gets the feeling that the jungle will win. The cntrast and lighting are excellent. Regards.

Hi Dan
I love this observation of the roots of the trees - it's amazing how the trunk of one of the trees appears to grow right out of the wall. Did you try this one in B&W?

So what you are saying is ..If you have a nice long sleep on the jungle floor ou might wake up with alot of roots wrapped around you. Interesting how fast things grow there. This shot might look great in black and white too. Nice work Dan..you really get around.!!
