Second of a series dedicated to Angkor people.
Angkor is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Stretching over some 400 sq. km, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire, from the 9th to the 15th century. These include the famous Temple of Angkor Wat and, at Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple with its countless sculptural decorations. UNESCO has set up a wide-ranging programme to safeguard this symbolic site and its surroundings.

Good composed on the side and nice textured background, What a dreamy almost sad look you captured here.

Very nice portrait of the boy, he kind of looks lost. Also the inclution of the detail of the pillar is very nice and sharp.

this one is hard one for me.. composition and light are very good, and this I like, but I must admit that his indifference somehow doesn't appeal for me. Not that I believe that he should be smiling, but as he is evidently posing for you, his total lack of interest is in a way indicative of your failure to create bond with him - and according to some very clever definition "portrait photography should be documenting relations between photographer and his model".
Next time try to spend some time with a person you want to photograph before taking actual picture - or, as you have digital, you can show him his picture on LCD and so on..

I really like the extra margin you get with the Nikor 18/70 vs. the Canon 24-70. Everything about this shot is spot on - great sharpness and a really nice compo.
