Photographer’s Note
I photographed these monks walking atop the Elephant Terrace inside Angkor Thom.
I hope you like it. As always, your comments and critiques are greatly appreciated...

Nice shot Daniel. Good composition, I like the balance of the monks in the foreground balanced by the monk in the background. Colors are nice, I find them perhaps a little oversaturated, but that is mostly me. I would personally dial the brightness down a little bit. Good shot.

Hi Dan, I like this one very much, the colors are fine and (of course) attractive, but I especially like the diagonal made by the three monks (Actually foru, but one is almost completely hidden) and the other one on the left.
Very nice composition this way.
And I would like to emphasize that you did a great job with your frame. It is well chosen. ;-)
Cheers, Rinie

nice compo dan! so you captured so many monks? prisoners of war under the Geneva convention,i guess? hope you freed them after the shot...haha!
what could have been improved?? maybe playing with the DOF to either open at f/22 and get a wider range of focus or at F4-5 to blru even further the monk in the rear...
nice shot!

Hi Dan
A great composition. I love the candid nature of the shot with the monks seemingly going about their daily business. The chap on the left in the background balances out the three in the foreground and also adds a splash of bright colour to contrast with the natural tones of the background. Well done.

Very good shoot Dan! Excellent choice for colour and amazing balance between the monks walking towards the monk meditating (or waiting?).

Hi Daniel, thanks for your kind words. What a wonderful shot. I think the strength is in the commposition. Nice strong foreground colours. This photo truly tells a story. Thank, Don.

Very nice composition and colors in this photo. I saw 3 monks just 2 days ago while I was on a hike. I wish I had the presence of mind to take their photo or to ask them to pose for one.

Hi Dan,
Nice picture, I like the composition.
The monk alone in the background is welcome.
I like the different colors of monk's tunics.

I admire your compo and quick capture of these monks, since I noted that they were always on the move rather than stopping and getting ready for your lenses.
Congratulations!
