Phnom Santuk is a holy mountain near Kampong Thom. As you've climbed over 800 stairs, you enter the domain of a small, but active temple with lots of stupas and several wats. At the entrance these young monks are welcoming the worshippers and collecting their donations.

namaste, nice double portrait. Excellent colour tone. Nice depth. The expression of those young monks is superb, they are as if welcoming you with your camera... excellent shot. Tfs.

Hello Benny, how you doing? Hope all is ok :)
I haven't been here for a while, and here I am chancing on your foto; I was looking for people shots... I have to say that there is a line through the shot that leads from the boy in the foreground to his friend, but your focus doesn't follow. I think you needed to shut down some more to get all eyes in focus; one without the other doesn't quite make it IMO. You have a duet here, and both should be in focus.

This is a classic scene from this part of the world, and I hope it will always be this way. It is very nostalgic for me as I grew up with this tradition, of boy serving as novice for a few years. Excellent shot of the timid but friendly children.

Amazing double portrait from Cambodia.
Eyes of those novices are telling many stories.
TFS and best regards

Another charmer form Cambodia, such great colour, expression. Focus works well, perhaps the left boy is softer but it's all about the subjects, great shot. I see you use the 3200, similar to what I have - how do you find it? (Mine is getting a tad old now)

A wonderful portrait of the two novices. I like their intense look that you managed to capture so well.
I was in Cambodia in 2003, and this picture awakens a lot of great memories of that beautiful country.
The slightly blurred figure in the BG adds to the overall context without stealing the viewer attention that remains focused on the main subject.
