Photographer's Note

The majority of Cambodians are young people under the age of 25. This is due to the demographic explosion that followed the Khmer Rouge year in the 80's & 90's.

Its children are Cambodia's future.

we met these children in Kampong Cham province, located on the central lowlands of the Mekong River.

Bonjour marilyn,
un portrait intéressant, la couleur et le grain de la peau rendus avec tellement de précision. La profondeur de champ réduite donne bien le focus sur le gamin au premier plan.

Hello Marilyn,the childrens facial expressions make for a most charming photograph,it`s a pity the boy in the FG is not looking at the camera but it is still a very nice shot with good skin colour.

ces enfants semblent avoir pris du plaisir à se faire photographier,j'aime bien leur sourire, et l'air pensif de celui du milieu.Le cadrage n'est pas ordinaire avec les 3 têtes coupées, mais ça fonctionne bien.Les couleurs sont superbes.

Hi Marilyn,

It is a very beautiful photo. A note that reminded us of the unfortunate time of what happened to the people. These children are the future and I think with good Education, Cambodia future looks bright. Excellent quality shot, great skin tone of the sun brown face. So cheerful and full of life.
