Angkor Wat is a ruin that is used for modern rituals, but is not maintained to western standards. It was a political and Hindu religious center for the Khmer kingdom about 1100, but abandoned in the early 1400's. It was "discovered" by a Frenchman in the 1800's, thoroughly overgrown. It is believed to be the largest religious structure in the world.

I believe that this picture deserves at least a couple of points, i really like the contrast between boy's face (life) and totally grey stone (death)
Also the composition is good, and I personally like the portraits made with wide angle (at least in this case it worked good). Well done!

I missed this very beautiful one before...
The contrast between the grey background and the boy is very good and his sweaty face so touching.
A great portrait.
