Photographer’s Note
A walk within the walls of the structures surrounding the Angkor Wat complex is unlike anywhere else. There is a blend of nature and man. Both artists strive to dominate the canvas - like music they add to the harmony. Here the "music" is at its best. Growth and destruction are in balance. In time nature may prevail. But if the structure is gone, the music will be lost, nature will become ordinary.

Hello David,
this tree reminds me of a very old person who is very ill and maybe soon is about to pass away. But while he is still alive, he tries to remain in "this world" by all means, grabbing at things around him as if ancient ruins will help him stay on the Earth forever.
It is one more excellent photo of Nature. Not everyone is able to see it in such a way as you with your camera.
Kind regards,
Elena
