"Angkor What?" and "Angkor Why?" Photo

Photographer’s Note

Before I returned to Siem Reap for the third time, my friend Monique asked me, "Angkor -- What? Again?", and my answer was "yes".

As to her part of curiosity "what", the simple response is easy.

But for her question "why", I hope this humble photo gives her the answer.

A good idea to show a well-known subject in a bit a different way. Perhaps a bit too many leaves in the FG, but that is personal taste. DOF is fine due to the leaves out of focus. Sharpness is perfect of the sculpture and the colors are vibrant. Unfortunately I have not been to Angkor Wat so far, but I will go, when I have the time, but certainly not during monsoon, I prefer the dry season ... Well done
