Photographer’s Note
Revisiting my rejected summer shots yet again. My original intention of this was to show these two friends, and nieghbouring stall holders, surrounded by the paraphernalia of their trade. The original came out as such a messy composition, mainly because of my lack of control of DoF with my little Ixus, that I really didn't like. On second (or third) look though I thought a close crop on the girls faces might save it. I still don't like the bag between them, but I don't really like to go to that extent with cloning.
Pov I've shown before her friend on the right is the mother of at least one of the children that shot.

Hi Richard
The storms have moved offshore here in Qld. A good dual portrait with acceptable sharpness, considering the degree of enlargement & cropping. I may try a ws. Overall, a good result. A country is a s much its people as its landscapes & it's nice to see some people shots from you, occasionally. Well done.

Nice, classic compo in this portrait. The open friendly ladies looking directly in the camera works well. The details btween them is IMO not to disturbing.

A classic double portrait with very successful tight framing. The eye contact and the light catch in the eyes are very good details...

Well, really no need of cloning the bags, Richard - bring some reality and it was good to be left in the shot! :-) Nice close up with perfect sharpness and exactly the tight cropping gives wonderful human feeling, radiating from the two girls. Fine true colours and very well managed light too. Very well done!

A nice portrait of this couple - it seems like they are focused on different objects - And about the bags - I haven't noticed them as something that disturbe my eye's - a ok try with your workshop but I would try a clone also - thanks Richard - for showing us your fine trip with your photos.
