Photographer’s Note
I keep saying I've no more of these to post, and then I keep changing my mind. I first thought that the compo for this was a bit too dull. But on reflection (no pun intended) I think there's something worthwhile about it. It shows some detail of daily life in a Cambodian village that I haven't protrayed before. The bamboo house is simliar to the one with the children playing, but I think it's interesting to see this one in the context of the agricultural setting, especially with the two poeple working in the field. The rich greens at this of year also look quite good I think.

And exotic composition here Richard! The composition is very effective as you did capture the atmosphere of the daily life in that place with the two persons working in the field (rice field i suposee)....Colors and framing are very pleasant too...

The detail I absoloutely like here is the inclusion of the two people working in the field. It really makes the rest of the stark grennish setting stand out in a very good way. Very fine compo Richard, something special..

It seems that it's a rice field,isn't it?!If yes,I would like to add it to theme"rice fields",say me please,Richard.
The greeny fields in the cloudy day become another green,a kind and a special soft and nice green, witha soft contrast which I like it a lot.
in the background, the people are working, witha familiar pose in their hard work,..one of them has a simbolic hat,and I think it's a great point for this shot,by this element we underestand that here is some eastern country like Kambodia, without it you could say here is Iran.
very well composed,I like it a lot,Richard.
Rice field?!

Good colour saturation, Richard. I like the '>' shape of the rice. The banana trees surrounding the house complete the picture.

Hi Richard....Nice Shot. But I feel that it is a bit too tight at the top and a lot of green is shown at the bottom. Do you think it would have been good if the frame had little more sky and little less of the field at the bottom?

HI Richard, the first detail that pops up in this photo is the intense green of this rice field, then it comes in contrast with the dark green line of trees and finally the eye lands on the two persons who impersonate the "village life". already been written, but the true TE spirit is in such photos.

Very nice Richard. I like the reality of the scenery and your note. IMHO, I would crop it tighter at the bottom and a little tighter on the left. I would go for a bit of a panoramic format. JMHO.

Definitely worthy of posting Richard! The green is so rich and bright and really makes this a lively shot. I like the two people working and the way the light catches the hat and the shirt.

Come on, Richard, dull? No way! Smashing green colour (of the rice ?), together with lovely water reflections, the row of taller plants and sky make fine layers to enjoy. People are wonderful element, adding life and vitality. I take it as a very interesting pic, as it shows a daily village life of a country I have never been to. So, from all sides: technical and informative - very good job indeed! Thank you for changing your mind and posting it! :-)

Hello Richard, you're right, it was really worth to post this picture. Bamboo house, rice field, people working, trees make a really nice composition.

This is certainly not dull! Great composition and emphasis and the lush grrens of the rice field. I particularly like the texture of the grasses and the sense of depth they give.
