Photographer’s Note
In this image of Angkor Wat only the sun seem to be able to get through. Many passages are partially open or clear and some locations not passable at all. In this view an inner passage is blocked. Restoration work was never completed. Weather and time still steal away the life of this great human made temple.

Hello David,
This is definitely not your typical Angkor Wat sunset photo.
At first I felt disappointed to see 'rubble' lying around this historical site and then I felt a touch of optimism - that Angkor Wat still has some untouched areas and therefore some mystery left.
The detail, lighting and 'texture' of the photo are all excellent.
Very well framed.
Best regards,
Andrew

Hello David,
a photo which has a touch of mystery! I like this POV, with a bit of sun rays penetrating inside these ruins.
A trace of ancient times, of ancient civilization! This reminds me of the old times when I was so eager to become an archaeologist!
best regards,
Elena
