It is a very good photo and a very interesting story, even if I believe that many of the writing will be graffiti made by visitors. The B&W conversion is excellent and a good option to present the picture and the associated message.

Good work creating a piece of art out of the ruins and abandoned church. The lighting on the wall is captured well with the rest in darkness.
Cheers,
Dave

Hi Wanda,
I agree with David in his words... You create a piece of art, here.
Excellent work, well done.
All the best, dear friend.

Dag Wanda,
Groetjes, Henk

Hi Wanda,
A difficult subject to show but quite interesting IMO... IT tells a story, a long story of war and this derelict church and place look quite eerie... i ve not been there but it looks interesting!
Greetings

Thats a lovely one from you again and in a different mood and genre. I like the tonality and textures in this one

Hi Wanda,
on the walls here we find graffiti, writings only on special rooms for personal affairs. The contrast is well exposed, not only the writings also the texture is good to see. This left construction a bit reminding me to a chimney would be better if it is complete I think.

Hi Wanda,
well seen, this composition of square and rectangular elements, and the stone with the gothic shape as a focal point at the right position.
Good one ! Besides this, I think itīs sad that people do their writings also in sacred places..
Compliments, Chris

Hi Wanda,
this photo attracted me right from the thumbnail. For the mood, and really nice tonalities, and subtle lighting. Simple, yet so interesting to explore...well, for me at least.
Lovely work!

Wanda, this is a nice piece of history. Too bad visitors feel like writing their own graffitis. I hate when people do that actually. As if the place was theirs...anyway, I like your shot
the soft and hard tones mix well and fit the story perfectly. There is not REAL focal point in this one, however, my eyes always comeback to that drawing of a man's face seen from the side.
Too bad the chimney is not complete...
byebye!

Hello Wanda
It`s create a certain mode...those writings on the wall, the cross...signs of the past, even if few are made later.
Love the fine grain and contrast of the Ilford HP5.
Very fine work.
My kind regards
