[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was made in the wide complex of temples at Angkor.

Angkor is really one of the best places I have ever seen in my life. The unbelievable size of the whole Angkor area. Once I sent nearly 45 minutes in a tuc-tuc just to get from one site to another.

I did a BW conversion not only because it has a better effect (at least I think it has) but also because I had to take the photo in ISO 1600. If you see the color version you see a lot of grains. In the BW version there is nearly nothing to see.

I was really surprised when I saw this photo on my computer when I got home because I was pretty sure that it wouldn't turn out to be a good one the time I made it. It's the small control-monitor on my D50...It's too small...You see - I search for excuses to uprade my body ;-)

Hello kevin. An interesting photo in b& w. The black-and-white version reduces the motive on the substantial. The composition is exemplary like also the informative text. Altogether worth seeing. Best regards, Wolfgang.
