Photographer's Note

I spotted this girl playing with her friends near Thommanon temple in the Angkor complex. I couldn't resist snapping a photo of her as she glanced at me with her sweet smile. The best part of my trip to Cambodia was meeting and spending time with the truly amazing and wonderful people of this beautiful country.

Dear Spiros
I've been in Cambodia and Vietnam till 10 days before. I loved the both countries and I took many pictures. As you said they are really wonderful people and so charming. Your picture too do reflect very well this sense of mood. It is very sharp and with well saturated colors. The purple scarf around her neck is really feast to eyes. My best regards. ihsan

Nice portrait, I like here how the light is used to lighten just as it required to make the view luminous bit not too much. And the wide aperture definitely works well. Her attitude is lovely, a combination of patience and amusement at the sight of this foreigner trying to master his evil pixel machine ;-)
