Photographer's Note
Lake Tonle Sap from Pnomh Kram hill, which is about 20 km east of Siem Reap & Angkor Wat. The green 'rafts', are water hyacinth, which is a pest, in many parts of the world. The sugar palms are quintessential Cambodia.

very nice work,

We have hyacinth in some dams as well and I know it is quite a problem but it sure makes a nice photo. I like the overall green feeling of this photo. It's very soft. Beautiful!!

Hi Chris
A good perpsective high angle on this lake, I recognize these particular palms, and the hyacynts from India too, very well captured all the greens.

In the immense flat area of Siem Reab Province, Phnum Kraom Hill stands out and offers an unique height for better view, but it's a shame I didn't climb it.
Even if I did, I am not sure if I could successfully photograph such a wonderful picture like this.
You did both, and you have done well.
Thanks & congratulations!

Hi Chris. Good work under some very harsh light. I've never heard of those water plants before. They may be a pest but that add a good deal of beauty to the landscape. Good catch Chris.

Hi Chris - great composition. The line of trees cuts a diagonal across the frame, leading my eye upward from right to left, and dividing the buildings from the fields. This shot has a unity of purpose that makes it get my attention right away. Well done!

Hi Chris, A very well composed picture. I like the view of the palm trees crossing the picture diagonally. I believe that the contrast is a little too high. The quiet and colorful village life is well depicted.

Hello Chris,
Your such images with very deep perspective are unbelievably wonderful. You always choose the best angle. Small buildings inside the green and the rafts in the water looks perfect.
Well done as always. Thanks for sharing...
