The ruins of Beng Mealea, near Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Straight out of an Indiana Jones movie, but real. The serenity of this ancient temple (wat) is truly awesome.
In the early morning, before other tourists begin to arrive, you can walk alone among the old walls, accompanied only by the soft hum of the jungle.
It's a humbling reminder of how pretty much everything, in one way or another, will eventually return to the earth.

A classic scene, famous location, but superbly taken. That ray of light is perfect, as is the overall balance of the shot. One of the lesser known places of Angkor Wat (thumbs up for that too) - but this picture has a great sense/feel of the location.
And I do hope the movie reference was intended, I mean in the title, NOT Indiana Jones :)

Simple but effective take on this iconic location. I like the tones and the kind of "green monochrome" result. Well done on exposure - it's so easy to underexpose in conditions like that.
