A grain of salt in the ocean
After rice and cash distribution funded by our friends, I still have 180,000 riel left. I believe it is best to give the entire amount to a 59-year-old patient who was suffering diabetes without medicine. Her name is Huot Pham and the picture has been shot at her bed inside the torn & little boat. It’s bitter to have the unexpected amount of US$45.00 delivered during her agony, I realized. We all knew that the donation arriving to her final hours is a tiny grain of salt in the ocean but at least it is a sign of comfort.
We wish her well and we kept her in our prayers.
There are many other cases similar to hers. The story of my quick return to Chong Kneas is still long, and the pain and misery of the Vietnamese living over Tonle Sap Great Lake in Cambodia are endless. Any of you who can help, please contact the address below for your donation. Thanks

Mr. Thanh:
I am glad you went through your plan to re-visit Chong Kneas, and fulfilled the humanitarian task. Besides smileys and extolments of each other, you open a different standard to enjoy TrekEarth and to use TE as a bridge toward humanity.
My respect and appreciations!
Yuan
