Photographer’s Note
This particular place, along with the five towers of Angkor Wat and the faces of Bayon is the symbol of Angkor. For many people Ta Prohm temple is the ultimate Angkor experience. Hidden in the jungle this temple has a unique atmosphere. Giant trees and their roots cover the structures dating back to the end of 12th century. Wandering around is true Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider experience.
This picture was taken in the afternoon, just after a heavy rainfall. It was a magic moment in Ta Prohm, because all the colors, browns and greens, came alive. On the other hand, the rain has forced most tourists to leave the site, so those who decided to stay and surrvive the downpour were rewarded with a chance to enjoy Ta Prohm in almost perfect solitude.

Fantastyczne zdjecie. Super ująłeś te korzenie, trochę w cieniu, trochę w slońcu - bardzo dobre.
Doskonały obiekt do zdjęć.

Michal,
this is wonderful, I love the fact that they are puddle from the rain and it's still wet even. Giving that authentic monsoon feel to the site, which help this tree grows so well, most image of this place is taken at the dry season. This one is special. Thanks. Where is Laura Croft?

Wow Michal,
What an extraordinary place; it reminds me of
the movie Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie.
The light conditions must have been difficult—I
would assume, however, you captured this one
very well. The image is very contrasty and with
excellent definition to appreciate the patterns and
textures of this unique temple and tree.
All the browns and green are so vivid, that you can
smell and perceive the humid atmosphere.

Witaj Michale,
Pozdrawiam!
