Photographer’s Note
This shot was taken in Ta Prohm temple in Angkor. The temple is famous for the giant trees growing right on the ruins. What you see here is a root of one of them covering the ancient walls. The place is frequented not only by western tourists, but Buddhist pilgrims and monks as well. Many of them take pictures, and some of them even make videos.

Witaj Michał
Ciekawie to wygląda. Kompozycyjnie, kolorystycznie, tematycznie. Bardzo dobre ostrości. "Jasne" zdjęcie (Olympusy tak mają :))
Kolejna świetna fotografia. TFS.
Pozdrawiam. Mir.Bis

Wonderful image, Michal. Perfect POV, great composition, interesting subject. Sharp throughout, and the orange and blue robe of the monk is vivid. Well done.

Hi Michal,
Well seen :) Everything is in contrast in your photo which makes a very good impact. Sharpness and textures are awesome. Very nice.

Hi, Michal -
A great capture- the timeless monk with his modern video! Well positioned, too, with the tree growing out of the ruins. I just think that the orange looks a bit over-saturated (could be my monitor).

Michal,
Very interesting image of a monk with a camcorder, not a typical image of a monk we alway see, which make it special. Great detail and sharpness. Composition would be better if the he were to look into the image to the left instead of the left, but there is nothing you can do about since you can't really tell him to do. This is afterall a candid shot. Watch out for the color, the orange is very intensed on my screen. A little more it would be to much and over saturated. Thanks for sharing and taking me back to Cambodia, and thank for you kind words on my image. Hope to hear from you again. I enjoy your gallery.

Hi Michal,
I've never been to those places but they say that you rediscover the light, the colors and the soul once you go there.
Here is a very good example of mysticism combined funnily with technology. Amazing photo with a well focused cadrage.
Cheers,
Deniz
