Wet season in Angkor Photo

Photographer’s Note

Visiting Angkor in the wet season, which is between June and November, brings some serious advantages. First there are far less people, so you have more places to yourself, and when you are lucky even the most popular temples can be almost deserted. Consequently, prices of accommodation and food are lower than in the high season of Dec to Feb. What is more, the jungle is alive, and the temples really look better then. This one was taken in Ta Prohm, famous for being the setting of Tomb Raider movie.

yeah u are right, Those temple will look better during raining season, but watch out if the rain is too heavy u cannot travel so far to see good temple. Anyway ur shot is nice with beautiful color and useful notation.

The colors of the moss are beautiful. Under this beautiful light, and with your sharpened and close POV, it is really charming.
I almost can smell the wet perfume of the jungle and the temperature on my skin...

Świetne to zdjęcie omszałego dachu. Bardzo fajnie skadrowane i nasycone. Ponadto jest to mały kawałek wielkiej architektury. Wielkiej historii.

Good closeup of a part of the temple. Great sharpness, colours and point of view. The note was very interesting, now I know when to go there (if I ever will be able to!).

Coś jest w tych kamieniach pokrytych mchem...zawsze podobały mi sie stare angielskie ogrody gdzie natura robi swoje a czlowiek jej na to pozwala :)Tu też wyszło to bardzo ciekawie. To musi być magiczne miejsce.Ładne kolory i ostrość !
